The children were awarded a visit to Waddow Hall as they completed the daily mile four times a week. They completed a night line and problem solving activities.
The children competed in a gymnastics competition that was judged by Mrs Smith. They all received certificates as they did amazingly well!
Some children from year 3, 4 and 5 took part in a rounders tournament at St Bede's High School. They played exceptionally well and worked hard as a team.
The children played Lammack at Netball and did extremely well. We are very proud of them!
Andrew Duxbury from Blackburn with Darwen came to deliver a Road Safety talk with KS1 and KS2. The children learnt about how to keep safe when out walking or cycling and how to look after themselves in the car, for example sitting in a car seat and wearing a seat belt. Andrew has donated hi-vis vests for all KS1 children, which they should wear when walking to school and mosque. We are also running a 'design a hi-vis vest' competition.
