Welcome to Sycamore Class!

Mrs Gristwood is your class teacher and Mrs Uddin and Miss Shaffa are your teaching assistants. Mrs Dodgson will be teaching in Sycamore Class on Tuesday afternoon.

Reading

All children are expected to READ TO AN ADULT at least THREE TIMES A WEEK. This is imperative if we are to help our children build their reading comprehension and reading stamina. We encourage the children to keep up their reading at home and this will be monitored so that the children can be awarded their Reading Badges throughout the academic year.

PE

Our PE days are Monday and Friday.

Children need to come to school in their PE kits which includes dark green jogging bottoms and a yellow t-shirt. In warmer weather the children can wear green shorts. They will also need to wear non-black soled trainers.

Homework

Homework is sent home on a Friday and is expected back in school on a Monday.

Children are expected to:

- read at least three times a week to an adult

- complete either a Maths or English task

- log onto Times Table Rockstars and practise for at least 10 minutes a week
