Oak

Welcome to Oak Class.

A very warm welcome to Oak Class.

The class teacher is Mrs Nickson and the teaching assistant is Mrs Ramzan.

Reading

Reading is so important, and is a focus throughout school. We will change your child's  reading book once a week and will label your child's red reading log book with what day we change your child's book. Remember, it is not just about your child reading the book, it is about spending time with your child reading the book together, asking questions about the story and pictures to your child.

We expect the children to read at home to an adult 3 times a week so they can earn reading badges. Children need to read 10 books for a bronze badge, 14 books for silver and 18 books for a gold badge.

PE

Our PE day is Wednesday. Please ensure your full PE kit is in school. It will be sent home each half term to be washed.

Homework will be sent on a Friday and is to be returned by the following Tuesday.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please come and speak to one of the adults or send a message on Class Dojo.

We look forward to creating memories and learning experiences together over our year together in Oak Class.
