Mrs Dodgson will teach Chestnut Class on a Monday afternoon.
Mrs Heffernan will teach Chestnut Class on a Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Smith, our P.E Coach will teach PE on Thursday.
Our PE day Is Thursday.
Children need to come to school in their PE kits.
They will also need non-black soled trainers for their PE days.
Our Swimming day is Monday. Children should arrive at school with their swimwear in their bag and should wear their PE kit. Children must bring their towel. Girls/those with longer hair should also bring a swimming hat.
Homework will be sent home on a Friday and will be expected back in school on a Monday. Homework will be English or Maths each week.
It is also expected that each week children complete the quiz on Accelerated Reader and spend time using TTRS to help consolidate their times table knowledge.
Children should learn the words from the Year 3/4 word list in the back of their homework book.
All children are expected to READ TO AN ADULT at least THREE TIMES A WEEK.
This is imperative if we are to help our children build their reading comprehension and reading stamina in general.
We encourage the children to keep up with their reading at home and this will be monitored so that the children can then win their Reading Badges.
