Daisyfield Primary School is committed to promoting the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These are taught throughout our broad and balanced curriculum, through PSHE lessons and during assemblies.
Picture News is also used weekly during key stage assemblies which allows children to learn from the world around them. Each week, a current news story is shared with the children, followed by an image for discussion and a thought-provoking question. Picture News also provides relevant and meaningful links to British Values to support pupils' personal development. Links are also shared with parents so they can continue work at home.
