RAMADAN FUND RAISING 2023
HOW MUCH DID WE RAISE THIS YEAR?
Well done everyone as we raised over £7,000!
During Ramadan we stopped to think about how Daisyfield helps those in need. The charity Benefit Mankind continues to do a great deal of work and for the fifth time we linked up with them to benefit others.
This year the money raised went towards the Earthquake Emergency Aid project.
Emergency homes costs £2,000 and can house up to 10 members.
Emergency food, water and medical aid costs £100.
NB: Projects are Zakaat Sadaqah Lillah eligible. Receipts can be provided for this. Please place money inside an envelope with your name, class name, address, the amount and whether it is Zakaat / Lillah etc.
As always, there was the added Daisyfield competitive element. The class totals were reported on DoJo and the school newsletter. Well done to Hazel class who raised the most money.

We had a visit from Dr Mulla from Benefit Mankind. He has recently visited the areas affected by the earthquake and shared with the children what we can do to help.
