Welcome to Hazel Class

Mrs Iddon is the Class Teacher in Hazel and Mrs Patel is our Teaching Assistant and she will be supporting the children in class. Mrs Crabtree will also be in class supporting on a 1-1 basis. Mrs Razzaq will be teaching Hazel Class two afternoons every week.

Reading

All children are expected to read to an adult at least three times a week. Reading is an important skill and practising at home helps the children build their comprehension skills and their reading stamina. 

In order to earn their Reading Badges, the children must read at least three times a week and have an adult sign and date their Reading Record. The children can read the same book for more than one week, once they have finished the book, they can bring it to school to be changed.

AR Reading

In addition to reading books, children will also be taking home the AR books. After reading the book, all children must complete their AR quiz on line. Please access the website from Daisyfield Primary School's internal homepage.

P.E. Days

Our P.E. for this half term will be swimming on a Friday afternoon. Please make sure the children come to school with their swimming kit in a suitable bag along with a swimming cap. They are not to come to school wearing their swimming clothes underneath their school uniform.

Homework

Homework books are handed out on a Friday and are due back on Tuesday. 

The homework will be a mixture of English, Maths and our Foundation subjects.
