Welcome to Birch Class

I (Mrs Parveen) will be your class teacher and Mrs Adam will be our Teaching Assistant.

Mrs. Dodson will be teaching in Birch Class on  Monday and Friday afternoons.

Mrs. Smith will our P.E Coach on  Tuesdays and Fridays .

PE Days

Our PE days are  Tuesdays and _Thursdays____.

Children need to come to school in their PE kits.

They will also need non-black soled trainers for their PE days.

 Homework

Homework will be sent home on a Thursday and will be expected

back in school on Tuesday.

Reading

All children are expected to READ TO AN ADULT at least THREE TIMES A WEEK.

This is imperative if we are to help our children build their reading comprehension and reading stamina in general.

We encourage the children to keep up with their reading at home and this will be monitored so that the children can then win their Reading Badges.

Class Information - Spring Term

We have had a very successful first term and I'm sure this term will be also be a great success and full of new learning! We will be working very hard from to ensure we continue to build on the learning from the first term and continue to keep on track by making great levels of progress throughout this term and the year. In order to this successfully we will all have to be active learners, making sure we are fully involved in all of the lessons.
