Mrs. Heffernan will be teaching in Rowan class on Thursday afternoons. Mrs. Smith will teach our Thursday P.E. lessons for the first half term.

Reading:

Home Readers: Children are given home readers. They need to be listened to at least three times a week and have their books signed.

  • If they have their book signed 3 times for  10 weeks they receive Bronze award.
  • If they have their book signed 3 times for  14 weeks they receive Silver award.
  • If they have their book signed 3 times for  18 weeks they receive Gold award.

Children are assigned to a day on which they will have their books changed. They must bring their books on the day.

AR Reading books:  Children need to read their AR books and take a quiz to assess their understanding of the text. They will need to score at least 80% to get a pass.
