No Pens Day

Today we celebrated No Pens Day. We did lots of different practical activities. We worked on talking and using our oracy skills. We did not use any pens or pencils all day!
In English, we read some instructions to create a pirate hat and put them in order. Then, we followed the instructions to make our own hat.
In Maths, we started our new topic of Capacity and Volume. We used different measuring equipment to measure out different amounts of water.
Science: We learnt all about hygiene. We took part in an experiment where we used glitter to represent germs. We then shook hands with one another to show how these germs spread.
