Miss Ahmad is the Class Teacher. Mrs Suleiman is our Teaching Assistant and she will support all the children in class. Mrs Burley will also be in class supporting children on a 1:1 basis. Mrs. Heffernan will be teaching in Rowan class on Thursday afternoons. Mrs. Smith will teach our Thursday P.E. lessons for the first half term.
Home Readers: Children are given home readers. They need to be listened to at least three times a week and have their books signed.
Children are assigned to a day on which they will have their books changed. They must bring their books on the day.
AR Reading books: Children need to read their AR books and take a quiz to assess their understanding of the text. They will need to score at least 80% to get a pass. Unfortunately, children can not then resit the test. It is important to make sure that they read it properly with understanding.
These books will be changed on Monday & Thursday.
On Monday & Friday, children will need to come to school in their P.E. kits.
Year 3 & 4, will have P.E. together on Monday.
Year 4 will have P.E. and Year 3 will have swimming on Friday am.
Homework books are handed out on a Friday and is due back on Monday.
The homework will be a mixture of English, Maths and our Foundation Subjects.
Spellings & Timetables: Each week, children will be given 7 spelling words and timetables to revise for the following week.
Passwords for any logins are glued in the red reading record books.
