What are we learning about?
Introducing our new topic: “Neighbourhood Watch”
Based around the local area, with a geography focus. Pupils will develop their geographical skills, knowledge and understanding through learning about their school, the features of its grounds and the immediate surrounding area.

Maths— number work—addition and subtraction, fractions and measurements
Science - Habitats
Art - Famous painter - L.S. Lowry
PE– Our focus this term is to work on developing skills

Clubs and Groups
Reading is a key focus as it opens up opportunities and develops your child’s understanding of stories, expectations, recognising sound and writing sentences that make sense. Your child will have a reading book and a library book each week. Please read as much as possible with your child.
Please make sure your child brings their book bag everyday and their reading book on the day they change their books. Library books are changed every Friday.
Finally, please could I ask that you provide a named water bottle for your child that can be left in school.
