Reading is a key focus as it opens up opportunities and develops your child’s understanding of stories, expectations, recognising sound and writing sentences that make sense. Your child will have a reading book and a library book each week. Please read as much as possible with your child.
Please make sure your child brings their book bag everyday and their reading book on the day they change their books. Library books are changed every Friday.
Finally, please could I ask that you provide a named water bottle for your child that can be left in school.
