We commemorated Martin Luther King day with our own Little People, Big Dreams day. Children dressed as what they aspired to be when they grew up. Children took part in a variety of activities linking to their aspirations such as responding in role during peer interviews.
In recognition of Black History month alongside National Poetry Day, children took part in a variety of activities such as: sharing poems by black authors and reciting poems relating to significant black figures. Year two read a poem about Bessie Coleman (the first black woman to get a pilot's license. Children performed the poem.

In recognition of Remembrance Day, children learned about the importance of the day and took part in activities relating to this.
We celebrated Snacktember. Children were encouraged to make healthy snack choices. We were visited by KidzFit who taught us all about how to keep our bodies fit and healthy.
