DT : Structures 

In DT this term we have been using recycled materials to create a chair for our toys.

Remembrance day 

.We have commemorated WW1 with some British values artwork by creating some Poppies.

In Art we have been using mixed collage materials to create pictures.

Mounted police visit 

In PSHE we have learning about people who help us in our local community. The Mounted Police came to visit us and discussed how they help people in the community.

Road safety talk 

Michala from the Road Safety team came to teach us how to cross the road safely and discussed how to keep safe on the roads during the dark nights.

Little people big dreams

To celebrate Little People, Big Dreams Day we dressed up into role we aspire to become one day. We asked and answered questions about our roles.

Safer internet day 

On Internet Safety Day we learnt the importance of how to stay safe whilst using the internet.

Instruction writing: making fruit smoothies

As part of our English unit we learnt how to follow a set of instructions and make a fruit smoothie. After making the smoothie we wrote up our set instructions for someone else to follow and make a fruit smoothie.

Christmas!

As part of our Christmas Celebrations, we followed instruction to make an angel to top on top of our Christmas tree.

We had lots of fun and worked together to complete exciting maths challenges.

RE: The story of Joseph

In RE we have been learning about the story of Joseph and his technicolour dream coat. We learnt how forgiveness and resilience overcome jealousy and hardship.

Black history month and national poetry day.

During Black History Month and National Poetry Day we learnt about Bessie Colman. She was the first African American woman to earn an international pilot's license.
