Spring Term 1 

In English, children have enjoyed discussing for and against many different agendas, such as, non-uniform vs wearing non-uniform, healthy snacks vs unhealthy snacks. For this activity, we carried out a conscious ally technique to help us 'argue' each case. 

 

In science, we have been busy getting hands on by creating our very own fossils. 

 

Little People Big Dreams 

Chestnut class children enjoyed dressing up in what they aspire to become when they are older.

 

Autumn Term

In our science topic 'Magnets and forces', children enjoyed investigating parts of the magnets. We used scientific vocabulary such as: 'repel' and 'attract' to describe what we had found. 

 

Children investigated which materials were magnetic and non-magnetic. 

 

In Design Technology our topic was, 'constructing 3d models of castles'. Children enjoyed working collaboratively to recreate models, thinking carefully about the different parts of a castle.
