PE Days

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday.

Children need to come to school in their PE kit.

They will also need non-black soled trainers for PE.

Homework

Homework will be sent home on a Friday and will be expected back to school on Monday/Tuesday. Homework will be English or Maths each week and this will be set on Century Tech most of the time following the schools homework policy.

It is also expected that each week children complete the quiz on Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Reader books need to be in by Wednesday as this is the only day we will be changing books. Please also spend time using TTRS to help consolidate their time tables knowledge.

Reading

All children are expected to READ TO AN ADULT at least THREE TIMES A WEEK.

This is imperative if we are to help our children build their reading comprehension and reading stamina in general.

We encourage the children to keep up with their reading at home and this will be monitored so that the children can then win their Reading Badges.

We will be monitoring Accelerated Reader on a weekly basis to ensure children are completing the quiz, which will enable us to monitor how well the children have understood vocabulary and key details.
