Spring 1

English - we looked at a range of non fiction books to see what features we could find. We then ticked the features off a checklist.

Science - we investigated ways to manipulate materials. e.g. stretch, bend, tear, roll and created sculptures out of plasticine

Dental hygiene - we had visitors into school who shared ways of keeping our teeth and mouth healthy

Snow - we enjoyed playing in the snow and worked hard to make snowmen.

Art - We have been learning about sculptures and created our own using clay and wire

Music - Mr Hobson held an assembly to teach us about different instruments and their families. He also taught us that music is everywhere and we can create music in lots of different ways.

Science - we completed an experiment to see what different objects could do. E.g. stretch, bend, snap
