Reading:

Home Readers: Children are given AR reading books. They need to be listened to at least three times a week and have their books signed. Please note, if there is no signature, the week will not be counted towards the reading awards. 

• If they have their book signed 3 times for  10 weeks they receive Bronze award.
• If they have their book signed 3 times for  14 weeks they receive Silver award.
• If they have their book signed 3 times for  18 weeks they receive Gold award. 

Once children have read their AR books they need to take a quiz to assess their understanding of the text. They will need to score at least 80% to get a pass. It is important to make sure that they read it properly with understanding before attempting the quiz.

HOMEWORK: 
 

Homework will be set on Century Tech - a mixture of Maths and English.

TIMESTABLES: Children will be completing a daily maths timestable challenge. Year 4 children will complete their multiplication test in June 2025. Children are registered on Timestable rockstar to practise their times tables.
